How can one own the air?

, How can one own the air? is a visual theatre play about property, moving and native americans. The play is inspired by the wise words of Chief Seattle.
We tell the story of Sem with handmade collages, cameras and a soaring puppet.

Sem's parents are having a divorce and the best house in the whole wide world is for sale. In pure despair Sem looks up to the sky and prays for help.
Her cry for help is answered by Chief Seattle. An adventure follows in which Sem fights for her beloved home. But how far can you go until fighting destroys all you love?

A theatre show for children and adults (8+).

Veer

Veer is an intimate, visual theatre play in which we use shadowplay, an overheadprojector  and pop-up illustrations.
We tell the story of a young girl in Amsterdam North, called Veer.
Veer is alone in the world. Her granddad has just passed away and her dad is missing on the Amsterdam lake. Veer decides to travel through Amsterdam on her own, searching for her own place in this world.

Veer is a short visual play which we made in collaboration with the HKU Theater, de Toneelmakerij and de Krakeling.

Concept: Yentl van Stokkum, Sara de Boer & Joy Slaats
Text: Yentl van Stokkum

Trailer of the documentary 'Aan Tafel'. We were invited by four very different Utrecht households whom we didn't know. We were curious about the differences and similarities of personal dinner habits. We compared these four households on this subject in this documentary.
